Smears had a Chris Webby song in his latest mixtape that was posted on the blog. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of him but his song kept popping up when listening to Smears' mixtape. Download, Listen and give some feedback in the comments section.

He will be performing at Middle East - Downstairs in Cambridge at 8pm on December 29th, the only bad news is that the show is on a Wednesday night. White Panda is performing with him in NYC the night before so lets hope that they decide to come to Boston too.

4 LOKO Fun Facts

Inspired by these hilarious made-up facts from some university's message announcing the ban on 4LOKO, I present to you the next Keystone Light thread.

Did you know...

1. The NyTimes recently reported that Iran launched its nuclear weapons program by mixing 4LOKO with 151 Rum.
2. The average homeless person in cities that sell 4loko hasn't slept in more than a month.
3. The original recipe for 4LOKO comes from Wormtail's attempts to bring Voldemort back to life.
4. In a recent study, researchers found that chimps that consumed 4LOKO were quickly molested at the nearest fraternity.

Like I said, here is new B.O.B's mixtape that dropped today. I have only listened to "Cold as Ice" and it seems pretty good so far. If you don't want to download it, I'm sure that you will end up getting a song or two in our own personal mixtapes that get posted on the blog from time to time.

New B.O.B Mixtape - December 7th

New B.O.B mixtape is going to be released on December 7th. I'm hoping that this mixtape will have some solid music like the song "beast mode", in the post below. When the mixtape comes out, I will make sure to let you know and post a link here. For those who are interested in checking out the mixtape before it comes out, here is his webpage.

Beast Mode - B.O.B

This song is strangely different from what some might call a "normal" Bobby Ray song. I like it and think that it's a cool swing on what he has been doing lately.

The album consists of La Roux, Chiddy Bang, The Cataracs, Wiz Khalifa, and Wale, to name a few. I hope you enjoy.

"Way Back Home" - Danny MacAskill

I ran across this guy and his skill and videos are amazing. I really like the song that he has playing in his video "Way Back Home." I'm going to post his list of videos here for you all to enjoy.

I really enjoy videos that show some really cool footage attached with a really cool/chill song. (ie the longboarding video I posed a couple months ago)

Massachusetts finally decided that pre-made rocket fuel is a bad idea. I don't know if I really agree with them, since I've had some great times with it and it saves me from having to go through the painstaking process of making my own, but I guess it was inevitable...here's the article

Also, in response to Bryce's 4loko video post, here's the one that got us going on Halloween.

How can you ban something that already has at least 2 music videos? And now without tax it would've been even cheaper. Oh well...

A Few Comments:

One or two songs weren't found by me and you might have heard some before, but i still threw them on here for those who haven't (that new wiz song's sick!).

Sean kingston is a fatass, but god, remember when B.O.B was dope? he reminds you in that dougie remix why we liked him. + that other cali swag song is way better than i thought they're capable of

A few good 53 meadow jams in here- Toot It and Boot It would have been an ANTHEM. toot that boot that

yeah, chris brown might suck.. but Drake, T.I., Andre 3000 on his beat DONT.

Donald glover is from 30 Rock, Derrick Comedy, and that show Community, and he raps on that 49ers song.

Off the Chain has amazing lines- listen up. same with Child Rebel Soldiers

Duke Sex-List "Thesis"

I'm sure most of you have seen this, but if not, it's the supposed "thesis" of one Karen Owen's, a former Duke University Student. She essentially rates every guy she's slept with in her long and slutty Duke career, giving them all a numerical rating at the end. Fake? Most likely. Funny? yep. And even more funny because one of the "subjects" happens to be a fellow classmate of mine, as well as a former pitcher on the BCH team. I felt a little bad laughing when I saw it, but then I saw that he got a $90,000 signing bonus from the sox this past may and felt less bad.

Best sounding voice on the planet

The re-emergence of Cee Lo has led to me taking a trip back through Gnarls Barkley and some of his older stuff. I think this video encapsulates everything amazing about Cee Lo and Gnarls Barkley. The guy is just belting it out so hard and killing it, while simultaneously showing off his gut and sticking his tongue out at the audience randomly. I'm convinced he could take any song and turn it into magnificence. And then to top it off you've got Dangermouse right with him playing eight instruments at once. I still think Gnarls Barkley was one of the best concerts I've ever been to, and I highly recommend everybody listen to them again.

By the way, Cee Lo's version of No One's Gonna Love You is easily 50 times better than the original.

Hey Ya

This is a little older, but it's been stuck all up in my head recently, so I figured you all should hear it as well if you haven't already. (I mean the last song that really got stuck in my head like this was "Tonight's gonna be a good night", and we all know how much everyone loves that song)

The honey baby's bringing us a cocktail

I guess people didn't like what I had to say about Entourage. I stand by it, the show is deteriorating into garbage, though I admit I will keep watching. Anyways, my life in Stamford is pretty much work and dicking around on the internets watching videos, so I'll continue to spout some nonsense and then show some clips for a week or so until I get bored. I decided to re-watch Swingers tonight. Back in the day Vince Vaughn is FIERCE. Here's some clips of some pre-Wedding Crashers/Old School that completely typecast him for the rest of his career.

PS- Check out the last line in the first clip. Sound familiar? I almost died.

And the big finish. Fantastic movie moment seeing as we all do this as our own pregame too. Getting pissed and calling everything bullshit (ahem, Pat), gloating over nothing special, and cheating when people are distracted.

Full movie in case anybody feels like watching.

More Music

Props to Pat for the music. The first Cee-lo song is actually a cover of a song by Band of Horses. Cee-lo's version is fire but the original is worth hearing.

Also, my main dude Gucci drops another banger. The guys lyrics are generally shit but I love his songs.

PS: Sorry about the shitty youtube videos of the songs. Check out the NSFW version of Gucci's video via google if you ever wondered what an Atlanta strip club is like.

Entourage blows, but TV still has a chance

I have to admit, Entourage has been a major disappointment this season. Way too much Turtle, Vince is worse than he's ever been, Drama is still somewhat of a tool, and Sloan shows up maybe once an episode.

"I'm a pathetic attempt to use drugs as a way to bring personality to an otherwise lifeless character. And my pornstar girlfriend serves no purpose other than to frustrate the shit out of viewers everywhere."

But you know what? I could have tolerated all of those things if at least they didn't tamper with Ari. He has been reduced to one good line every two episodes, and that was the last straw. I have officially written off Entourage as a dumpy, forgettable show and I'll be glad to see it end.

This frees us all up to enjoy some of the great television that we've all been missing. Californication and It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia are both right around the corner (also The League, which is amazing and you need to watch it). Here's some encouragement to keep you from throwing your TV off a balcony, or blocking sidereel.com since nobody actually watches shows when they air anyways:

The commentary is a little excessive but the clips speak for themselves.

Full Season. Get caught up.

Bierberize the homeland!

Although I made myself promise never to mention "he who must not be named" on the blog again, this is just to good to be true. So Justin Bieber's management decided to do this contest where people could vote what country to send Justin Bieber to. Naturally, North Korea is in second place with 190,000+ votes. Will a Bieber performance help Kim Jon Il finally convince his people that the rest of the world is an evil, evil place? Or will it drive thousands of North Koreans to suicide via Bieber Bomb, offering them a sweet, sweet release from their great leader's sweaty clutch? Or will Kim Jon Il avert disaster by hiring thousands of Chinese to attend the concert instead? Become a part of one of the greatest political dramas of our time- Get out there and vote people!
